Visual Art & Literacy Program – Kids 5-8 years old – Winter Art & Storytime
June 13 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am
Keep your little ones cosy and busy over the winter period! Boost literacy skills & learn to make art, with all art materials provided!
About this Event
The Winter Art & Storytime Sessions is literacy and art-making focussed virtual program. Join Mrs Q. each week as she reads a magical story and unpacks the written and visual elements of the book. She then teaches your child to make a different artwork inspired by the book in the weekly, live virtual class.
All quality art materials are provided.
Your child can watch the book reading before the live class, online anytime during the week. It could be any time suitable for them – even at bedtime! Mrs Q will then run the art-making component live on Saturday mornings.
This class is a mix of pre-recorded video and live, virtual instruction, via Zoom and SeeSaw.
The class runs for 6 weeks starting June 13 and until July 18 @ Saturday 8:30 am – 9:30 am AWST / 10:30 am – 11:30 am AEST.
Age suitability – 5-8 years of age.
Enrol now for Early bird pricing until 31 May 2020
On enrolment, Mrs Q will post all the materials required for the classes to you – all materials and postage are included in the class price. The materials pack includes over $50 worth of art materials to be used for this class and plenty for afterwards.
