Happy to practice physical distancing but this is no time to be distancing from each other Socially!

A couple of weeks ago, while the world went mad, my husband and I were staying on a friend's farm in absolute and total isolation – a stay we had planned for 6 months.  Each morning we had a friendly ‘put the kettle on' visit from the neighbouring farmer.  A great down-to-earth Aussie bloke.  One day he said:

“you can't just stand around watching your cow die while you're waiting for the grass to grow

He brought a smile to my face but I couldn't help thinking that his simple observation was a great metaphor for small business owners at this difficult time.

Not sure what we can do?  Not sure where small business is headed? How will we survive? What will business life be like post this crisis?

Let's not sit around watching grass grow.
