CoSBA is WA's Independent Peak Body representing a range of small businesses with our membership being made up of Business Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Industry Associations and other bodies that provide support and assist small business and Industry Groups.
As a peak body, CoSBA acts as a representative and united voice for and on behalf of small business organisations, in so doing, we actively represent the interests of our Affiliates, our Associate members and small business in general, by lobbying Governments and by being represented on a number of forums and bodies.
CoSBA (Combined Small Business Alliance of WA) is WA's independent peak body representing small business. Since 1998 our membership has been made up of Business Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Industry Associations and other bodies that provide support and assistance to Small Business and Industry Groups.
As a peak body, CoSBA uses its 'Campaigning Voice' for and on behalf of small business organisations by representing the interests of our Members by lobbying Governments and through representation on a number of forums and bodies to affect change.
Affiliates of CoSBA have a combined membership comprised of an estimated 3,200 employers, with a conservatively estimated annual turnover of $800,000,000, employing an estimated 35,000 employees.
In mid-2016 and, in response to interest from small business owners to join CoSBA directly, CoSBA now offers Associate Membership. This decision ensures that we can engage in two-way conversations with the small businesses we represent and have them join with us as we exercise our ‘Campaigning Voice’.
Since the 1990’s CoSBA has been championing the cause of thousands of WA’s small businesses through its membership. It has used its influence with governments, both state and federal, to advocate and effect positive change for all those starting, running and growing a business.
A recent focus for CoSBA is to connect WA's regional small businesses with each other and to their counterpart small businesses based in the Perth Metro area in order to deliver great business advice and peer support through the shared collective know-how across WA.
