Small business is often referred to as the ‘engine room of our economy’ but the problem is we can screech all we like but we don’t get an awful lot of oil. We want to change that by giving WA’s business community a strong voice and we aim to do it by partnering with CoSBA.
The Combined Small Business Alliance of WA (or CoSBA) is WA’s Independent Peak Body representing small business. As a peak body it acts as a representative and united voice for and on behalf of small business, by lobbying Governments. Local, state and federal in a non-political and non-sectarian manner. Historically, this important advocacy role, to governments of all persuasions, has played its part in affecting positive change.
There are many issues impacting small to mid-sized businesses and so we want to know what is affecting you so that we, together with CoSBA, can use our combined voice to advocate on behalf of WA’s business owners.
We see CoSBA as a vital cog in Engine Room Hub being effective in our advocacy to government and other legislative bodies on behalf of SMEs. In conjunction with this partnership, we are thrilled to announce that CoSBA is offering all members of Engine Room Hub the opportunity to become an Associate Member of CoSBA at no cost.
Together, we will use our platform to conduct surveys to discover what are the key things you want us to take up on your behalf, what are the big issues for you and how do you want them solved?
